So we have not yet decided what we want. Here is a little background, my FH and I have been together for just over 10 years and have 3 children. He and I both want to go to Vegas and he has even suggested to go there to get married. Yes I in the back of my mind I wouldn’t mind going cause we have been together for so long and lately I just want to be married. So if we go there we could have wedding and honeymoon all in one. But yes of course I want to have family and friends there. And going to Las Vegas we could afford all by ourselves. What do some of you think of this?

If you really want a wedding, I say go for the traditional wedding.. However, if you can care less either way, then do what you feel you want to do.. if its vegas, then go for it! after having a traditonal wedding, i would advise girls to NOt deprive themselves of a wedding.. It was just wonderful!

I’m doing a destination wedding in Mexico at an all-inclusive and I would say it’s a GREAT compromise between the two. You end up getting a small number of guests even though you can invite everyone (so no feelings get hurt). And the resort literally takes care of everything (flowers, cake, minister, music, set-up, take-down, food) and you can get away with it for a lot cheaper than a hometown wedding, though it can still have all the traditional aspects of a wedding.
