Hi,
I am not a photog but I can HIGHLY recommend talking to Matt & Sol of Del Sol Photography. They are the sweetest people and are from Playacar. I bet they will be able to answer your questions and maybe help you connect with a few local photogs. Good luck =)
i think my photographer included something in our contract stating that he would find a suitable replacement should the situation come up. I don't remember word for word, but I think it would have been an associate of his locally. He would have had to work with me and the airline to adjust the flight reservations, I think. But I don't think that I would have been responsible for the change fee and other costs in that situation.

This is a question for any Destination Wedding photographers out there. I am scheduled to shoot a destination wedding in Cancun this October. The bride's family is buying my plane ticket and the mother of the bride asked what is my plan in case I can't make it for some reason? Do you usually have a few back-up photographers who are willing to go at the last minute? Do you contact photographers at the Destinations? I would like to send a contract and am not sure what to put in there regarding this topic. Please advise,
Thank you in advanced for your insights,
Trista T.
