- Wedding: June 2015
Hi ladies! I am planning a June 18 wedding in Cancun. I am trying to make it all super easy for myself. I really just wanted to have everything done for us, and didn’t want to have to do a lot of work beforehand myself. I think I am on track here. I have my venue, Riu Palace Peninsula. I am confirmed, but haven’t really had direct contact with my coordinator yet. I have emailed the photographer and still waiting to hear back from them. I am not sure how many guests to plan for. With both our immediate families we would have about 20. Lots of friends and extended family say they are coming, but until they actually pay their $$ , it’s still unknown. Lots have new babies so I imagine we will have lots of people who can’t come. That’s fine…I figured I don’t have to give a final count for awhile. I have informally let everyone know, and given them our travel agent contact info, or they can use their own.
I am not planning on doing wedding programs, place cards, Etc. Do any of you think that’s a bad decision? I am trying to not spend unnecessary $$, my parents are paying for everything, including the trip for 6 of us. Most everyone will know each other and can sit where they want. I just want it to all be fun, casual and easy, I am still figuring out the welcome bags. I have our koozies, and I don’t want to have a bunch of extra stuff to take on a plane. What did some of you bees do about this?
And my dress is ordered *love it*
Any suggestions on what I might be missing?
