Quany76:  I am currently planning mine now for July 2015. We are doing Sandals Montego Bay. So far it’s been smooth, we had one hickup which was the room feature we wanted would not be offered when we will be out there so our resort was changed but everthing else was the same and we did not incur any additonal costs for the move.

We have roughly 60 people invited and 18 solid confirmed right not so that number will probaly increase within the next few months. We have already decided that we will not have a dinner reception since we are not keen on paying for food at an all inclusive so we would just do dinner at one of the resturants on site, the only exception is if we have enough guest that would bump us up to a free dinner reception. I would ask about any extra inclusion that you get with the number of rooms booked and I would advise to ask about photograhy. I know some resorts will not allow outside photographers or they partner with locals.  The cost vs the amout of photos you get is way off compared to your usual photography services.  Hope this helps

Quany76:  So sorry I am just responding back. I’m still debating on if I will bring anything with us, since most decor is covered there I dont want it to be overloaded, and there is possible customs charges as well.

I just came back from my wedding at Dreams Los Cabos. Dreams is a “wedding chain” so they totally know what they’re doing. Everything went smoothly once I arrived; I felt like I could’ve said “Throw me a wedding” and they would’ve done so without needing to even ask me anything.

The e-mail responses were really slow though and that was something that really scared me throughout the planning process, but they literally just need to meet you on that first day of the vacation and they will tie up EVERY loose end. I was so thrilled with my destination wedding. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. It was intimate, private, and perfect.
