did you give every single guest a welcome bag, or did you give one per family/per couple? im thinking of putting things in like a couple of squirt guns, some sunscreen, some germ-x, stuff like that. but i didnt know if i should just give every family one bag or every single guest a bag with a squirt gun. some of our guests will be small children. so, i guess that is why im confused. do i give a 4 year old a welcome bag. im trying to NOT have a specific bag per family or per couple. id like for them all to be the same contents and still be appropriate for a family, a couple or a single guest.

@BeeG35: We did a welcome bag per room so there were usually 2 per room so it was 1 bag per couple!
Maybe you could do somthing simple like little goodie bag with a coloring book and a few snacks for the kids…..you could get that stuff cheap at the dollar store.

I’d do it per room.
My niece did do welcome bags, but we all went to jamaica for her wedding, and she included the favors in the bags. So it worked out. She seriously went to the dollar store and got magnets and bubbles and water guns and things like that.

We are doing it per room/family. I gave my mom the approximate number of out-of-town guests, which she rounded up on when buying bags, and since they’re not all staying at one hotel, we’re giving them out at the welcome dinner. They’ll have maps, the local paper, water bottles with our labels, a small treat, and our logo as a sticker on the bag.
For squirt guns, maybe that’s a better option? Hand them out to individuals at the rehearsal or reception?
