Fiance and I are trying to decide where to have our engagement photo session this Spring. Options include the Dallas Arboretum (under the cherry blossom trees), the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens (under the cherry blossom trees), Old Red Courthouse, Kimbell Art Museum, Tate Modern Museum, Nasher Sculpture Center? We would also consider somewhere more “urban” if we had some great ideas. Anyone have any experience at any of these places or other DFW area recommendations?
*in case you are wondering cherry blossoms are part of our paper and floral design.

They all sound lovely! I love the Arboretum and Fort Worth Japanese Garden! If you like historic towns, Downtown Mckinney has alot of great areas. I have done family and engagement sessions there and also Adriatica is a beautiful place if you want to feel like your in Croatia. 🙂

@farmlove84: Thanks! Our best man and his wife live in McKinney so we’ve spent quite a few evenings in downtown McKinney. Also, the Guitar Sanctuary is on the edge of Adriatica, so my Fiance is a big fan! Great ideas! I appreciate it!

The Arboretum is great & then you are also right next to White Rock Lake, there are some GREAT places there to get some great shots there too!

We took ours at the Winspear Opera House and loved them. FYI the Tate Modern is in London 🙂 The Fort Worth Modern isn’t known as that.
