Meee too.
All I've come up with by myself thus far is Mexi-Go in Allen and The Pantry in McKinney. We love Kirin Court in Richardson which might work if we do family style, but it's probably a little more expensive than we're thinking. We tried Kostas in Plano which was quite good and reasonably priced, but unfortunately it wasn't particularly kind to my irritable bowel syndrome.
Anyone have any other ideas?
Hi, I'm planning my rehearsal dinner too and I've come up with some options that you might want to try. They probably won't be in the $8 - $9 dollar range, but you might be able to discuss cost with the location. Good luck and Congrats!
Gloria's- at Firewheel Mall
They have a upstairs area that seats about 30-40 people very comfortably. We had my birthday there last year and the service was great. They are very attentive and cater to the needs of your guests.
Master Grill- at Firewheel Mall
Great for guests who like the food brought to their table. They have a fantastic salad bar and the cheese puff are to die for!
Siciliano's Taste of Italy- Garland, off of Buckingham Road
Great little italian place that has a back room for large groups
Thanks for the tips!
We've decided to have it at Roma's down on Greenville Avenue in Dallas.
They have very reasonable prices, tasty food, and a nice covered patio over a creek. It's got the laidback atmosphere we were looking for, and it's been one of our favorite restaurants for some time. It just too us a little while to think of it in the context of our rehearsal dinner.

I'm looking for a rehearsal dinner venue, preferably in North Dallas, i.e. Allen, Plano, Richardson, or Garland. We want to keep the per person price around $8 or $9, and would prefer to support a local business owner over a chain.
We wanted to have it at Taste of Galilee in Plano but they closed! :(
We're open to a variety of ethnic foods including persian, vietnamese, chinese, tex-mex, soul food or anything else that you have to suggest which is delicious but won't freak out our guests too much. I know some guests definitely wouldn't be cool with sushi or kimchi.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
