Hahaha!  We motivate each other when one is feeling blah about going to the gym.  It’s good to have a helper, isn’t it?!!

@mrs_pudding_pop:  We do it for eachother quite a bit! Sometimes you need that gentle reminder. I’m also pretty competitive, so I feel like if he goes (or my friends text me about their workout) then I have get a workout in too. 🙂

My DH “tough loves” me out of bed all the time.  He’s an early bird and I’m a sleeper.  I’m constantly late because I sleep in.

He’ll turn the lights on and – much worse – tickle my feet.  That evil man!

@mrs_pudding_pop:  Good job going! Usually he motivates me but last night he was napping and I wouldn’t leave him alone until he woke up and came to the gym with me, he goes  everyday and last night he was so tired he just watned to take the day off. After going he was thankful and would have regreted not going! Usually its the other way around!

Haha yes, DH and I work out together and it’s been great motivation! On days when I’m feeling lazy he’s always there to give me the push I need and vice versa. I have been so much better about sticking to a routine when I’m exercising with DH!

@mrs_pudding_pop:  I wish somebody would turn the light on in the morning for me to get out of bed!

FI has to leave for work about 20 minutes before me in the morning, and I’m usually the one pushing him out of bed about 15 minutes before he needs to leave. I end up pushing snooze twice, and he doesn’t set an alarm at all… men!

I’m actually considering putting a timer on our floor lamp that is on the other side of the bedroom so that it will turn on about 5-10 minutes after my alarm goes off in the morning.

I would just need to remember to flip the timer off for Saturdays and Sundays!

My husband has done this – I like the tough love.

I need to get up by 4:45 if I want to work out. Alot of times I just snooze my alarm until its 5:30 and I need to get up to take a shower and leave – oops! But my husband has literally pushed me out of bed the past couple of mornings. Once I’m up, I’m up and I will go workout. I hate him but love him at the same time.

@mrs_pudding_pop:  I have told my DH to do pretty much exactly that to me as soon as his parents get back from vacation. Right now I have been going to the gym after work, but when they get back I will want to go more in the mornings, so asked him to turn the light on and pull the covers off me to make me get up. 🙂 LOL.
