He’s normally a very calm guy, but this has him really rattled, understandably. The procedure itself is quite painful.
The doctor doesn’t feel any lumps or masses & nothing shows up on ultrasound. But, his PSAs are consistently high, so biopsy is the next logical step.
The procedure only takes 10-15 mins & he’s fixating on that. I’m scared of the results.
It’s sapping the joy out of our upcoming trip to pick up our new puppy, for whom we’ve been waiting since last January.
Any suggestions as to how I can help him manage his anxiety? I’ve never seen him like this before, poor darling.
