So we’ve been married for about 7 months now and Darling Husband just informed me he has lost his SECOND wedding band. He lost his first one after the first month and I’m really starting to wonder if it’s worth buying him another one.
Have it glued to his finger! But seriously, I don’t know if I could keep buying a new ring every few months unless it’s cheap.
I’d draw one on with permanent marker.
I wouldn’t get another. It seems he’s a bit absent minded when it comes to jewlry, and it’s not fair to you that he keeps losing them.
why is he taking it off at all?
get one tattooed on his finger.

The first one he left in the locker room after a sporting event and this morning he lost it after playing hockey, I guess when he took off his glove his ring went with it and now he can’t find it. He says it’s really important for him to have one, but he doesn’t like the “look” of the cheap bands.

Maybe he should not wear them to sporting events? I make my husband keep his ring on the counter when he is working on his car and not take it off when he is wearing it unless he is at home.

That stinks that it keeps happening.
Maybe this will help, have you seen this thread?
FREE Tungsten Men’s Bands- I’m not a vendor
Post # 11
Order a couple of Tungsten bands from JVL jewelry for $25 each 🙂
At the cash, in the gift cert. box, put in “brides” and you basically get the ring for free and just pay $25 for “shipping”.
It definitely isn’t a scam either, several other girls on the Bee have ordered them and had no problems! Mine is being shipped right now!
Here’s the thread: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/free-tungsten-mens-bands-im-not-a-vendor

Oh I remember looking at that thread a few days ago! Ironic… Are you ladies aware for how long that deal will be going on?
Not sure? I googled it a bit to really make sure it wasn’t a scam and it looks like it has been going on for ages, like since 2010.
I ordered DH’s actual wedding band, but I also ordered a plain band for me to wear when we are camping, hiking, travelling, etc…

i wouldn’t buy him another ring, maybe a tattoo;)

I ordered a band off of Amazon.com from the seller Sabrina Silver for $10.
They have Titanium and Tungsteun bands. Most are under $25. Some are even as low as $15. They do not look cheap at all. And they ship quickly.
Here’s a link to the seller page: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_jewelry?_encoding=UTF8&node=3367581&field-brandtextbin=Sabrina%20Silver

I wouldn’t buy him another expensive one, but maybe some tungsten or a tattoo 😉
