Oh god Im so mortified, why are men so thick..
am 7 months pregnant now and experiencing a few more unwelcome preggo symptoms-
I caught my husband on skype to his mother (who was enquiring about the pregnancy) proclaiming to my Mother-In-Law and my SIL
“yeah she has all the symptoms now, she’s been really constipated for the last few days”
When TF did my bodily functions become a topic up for discussion??- I’m a really REALLY private person and I wouldnt be telling my own mother about the more embarassing side effects of pregnancy, let alone my Mother-In-Law…
What STUPID and downright insensitive thing has your hubby said??

sighs….is there really no censoring? 😛

Thankfully, Darling Husband hasn’t really said much that I can remember as being extra stupid… But there’s time ;). I’m only 24 weeks, he’s got loads of time to come up with a doozy!

OMG! I can’t believe he went there! So bad.

OMG, I would be mortified. My Darling Husband has no filter. Any little thing that is going on with me, he shares with his mom. She’ll often call me saying “Your Darling Husband told me about so & so. How are you? How bad is it?” I’m like, really DH?

hahah awww. You did tell him that those things are off limits now right? Tell him he can talk about baby kicks, nurseries, and back pain all he wants. Leave things below the baby off limits.

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Haha, “things below the baby” are off limits – good idea!

@Mrs.LemonDrop: Awesome phrasing there! “All things below the baby are off limits” – love it! Fortunately, I haven’t had too many issues with Darling Husband saying things I would rather he didn’t, but you can bet I will be using that phrase if he starts losing his filter!
@cacmillis: Aww, I’m sorry. I think sometimes our DHs get so caught up in the excitement that they forget what is appropriate to talk about and what is better left between the couple. If it makes you feel any better (it won’t but I’ll throw it out there anyway), I have the opposite problem in that Mother-In-Law likes to discuss way too many details that I would rather not know! I have heard many, many times now about how Mother-In-Law has very large nipples which made it very easy for her to breastfeed. I also regularly hear from her about how DH’s sister also has very large nipples, which made it easy for her too! MIL just can’t stop talking about large nipples and I think she really wants to know if I’m part of their large nipple club but I just can’t go there.

@Ree723: OMG! “Their large nipple club.” So funny.

My huband told a friend of his (in front of me) how bad my gas has been since being pregnant.
Ughhh…..what is wrong with men? 🙂

Ill remember that below the baby comment! The large nipple club comment made me actually LOL! HAHA
I was livid after the skype call and Darling Husband was all Wide-eyed “what did I do??”
In fairness to him he is very excited…
I had to EXPLAIN to him how my bodily functions are not up for discussion and if I catch him at it again, Im telling my extended family that there is some odd discharge from his willy…..
I think he got the picture 😀
