Awwww isn’t that sweet!! It’s so nice to see our men get wrapped around little girls’ fingers!

When I was pregnant, we thought we were pretty much guarenteed a boy. No girls in DH’s extended family for 87 years.

When we had an ultrasound and found out we were having a girl, he was a bit disappointed at first, I could tell.

Of course, he was still excited to meet his DD.

When she was about 4-5 months old, he said, “You know what, even if we had another baby and it was another girl, I would be so happy. I love DD so much, and I don’t even care if we have a boy now.”

It was so sweet to see him loving ever minute of her. Today, he’s spending a butt-load of money on a new swingset for her to play on. He was so excited to see the look on her face when she comes home today. Wrapped. Around. Her. Finger.

D’awwwww, this makes my heart happy 🙂

We were team green, and when she was born it was like an hour later DH said, “I’m in so much trouble- I’m already wrapped around her finger!”  and he is over the moon with joy to have a little daddy’s girl!

Aw that’s cute. My DH doesn’t have a preference at all what we’re having! If it’s a girl though, he’s in trouble.  She’ll be his little princess.

My husband is the same way, but I absolutely know it is because he will be wrapped around a little girl’s finger in 0.3 seconds. He’s such a softie, he won’t be able to take it, and that’s why he is so adamant about it being a boy!

aww that’s so sweet!!  sounds a lot like mine!

DH has always wanted a boy and has made that quite clear.  I finally got him to admit that the reason he didn’t want a girl (other than all of the hormonal stuff) was because he’s afraid he’ll love a little girl more than a little boy.  Well, guess what?  we’re having a girl!  he was disappointed at first, but after seeing so many cute little girls when we go out, he’s so excited now.  He talks to my belly and tells her that even though “it’s not what I ordered, I still love you already!” makes me teary!

That’s so sweet! DH was the same way–definitely preferred a boy. We are having a girl and I’ll admit there was some momentary disappointment (he says he immediately imagined her as a teenager–dating and whatnot). However now he is SMITTEN!! Even though she isn’t here yet, she already responds majorly to his voice and they are already forming this adorable and precious bond. Nothing like a daddy’s girl! 🙂

I hope SO will be the same way!  He comes from a family of boys and he’s terrified of girls – LOL – so he hope we get all boys and he thinks it’s realistic.  I come from a family with more women than men so we’ll see!

Secretly, I think he’ll be super cute wrapped around our (hypothetical) daughter’s finger! Only problem is we can’t seem to agree on a name for a girl. >.<

Haha, that’s exactly what I’m hoping to avoid! DH would be so smitten with a little girl that it is ridiculous. Two U/S techs have told us ‘boy’, so fingers crossed.
