It’s not boring or tacky, it fits in. I just don’t know what I’d do with it, if I were to recieve it as a favor.

I think this is hilarious! I’d love it!

I think that even though they would fit in great they are a potential waste of $ …I highly doubt every guest will get use out of it and I would hate to see them go to waste, but I guess that typically is what happens with favors at weddings.  This is why I am a big supporter of the edible ones!  Either way they are pretty and would fit with the theme so it’s your call 🙂

I think it’s pretty, but I’m not a bling girl so I wouldn’t use it.

I’m not a huge fan of favors in general, because I have never gotten one that I actually used (I didn’t have them at my wedding either).  I don’t know what I would do with a diamond or sapphire paper weight either.

They’re pretty, but to be honest, I have no idea what I’d do with it.  Plus, if I had traveled to your wedding I dont think I’d want to lug that back home in a carry-on.

I love the idea! My wedding theme is “bling” and my color is tiffany blue. I’m giving out those as favors for my wedding and putting them into a tiffany blue box :”]] So for me it fits into my theme, although i’m sure no one I know would use it (especially the guys) but I just came to the point that I don’t care what they do with it, it’s my wedding, and it fits perfect with my theme. Usually other items that you get at weddings you never use either. And my paper weights I got an awesome deal for a price.

My guess is that most people (especially guys) won’t take one, and it will be a waste of money.  Most people don’t use paperweights anyway.

It’s a fun favor and definitely goes with your theme, but a lot of people forget to take favors from weddings — I always forget. And I feel like a lot of people wouldn’t use this (Especially men?). I generally think favors are a waste of money unless they’re edible.

Hmmm…I don’t really love it…But that’s not to say you shouldn’t do it. I had perennials as my favors and they were really popular. Almost everyone took one and people who could find more than one took those too, lol. But I can understand that that doesn’t fit with your theme. Hmmm…have you considered making a donation instead of having favors? And then you put a note that says “In lieu of a wedding favor we have made a donation to the X Foundation” or something.

i love the idea and i work a lot outdoors when im at home and i would definitly use it, to keep the papers from blowing in the wind, personally i think its a great idea, but they have more masculine paper weights if you wanted something for the guys… just a thought

I like it, I would love to put that on my desk at work. But I don’t think the guys would like it too much.
