I think there’s a facebook page for Diamond Candle rings.  Check it out and see what they say!  They could tell you what the stamp markings mean πŸ™‚

Can you get a picture of the stamp?

@Jacqui90:  The jeweler should be able to let you know if it’s silver, gold, or just base metal. So you’d have to pay for a more thorough appraisal, but they can identify the metal (and should) for free!

Ok, I’m just going to ask…what is a candle ring?

@Jacqui90:  true appraisals will cost around $100.  perhaps you can just go to a local jeweller that you trust and ask them what it is made of.  the best place to go would be a store that has a goldsmith or gemologist on-site.  those are the people to ask, not the sales associate.

@Jacqui90:  That’s almost like one of mine.  It ended up being a $10 ring.

You’ll have to bring it to a jeweler to get the real value. Go in, say you have a ring that you dont know anything about and wanted to learn if it was worth anything, and if they could take a look at it. Make sure it’s one with a gemologist/someone who will know more then just a girl at a counter at Zales or whatever.
