So, I heard about these for the first time yesterday on my military wife forum. I was wondering if anyone here had tried/heard of them?
Basically, it's a soy candle that has a ring hidden inside that could be worth $10, $100, $1000 or $5000. Apparently they smell really good.
I was one of the first people to buy them! Its my FI's good higschool buddy who started up the company with other friends :)
I love them! There is no guarantee you will get a diamond, but it is still a totally addicting and awesome concept. I got a diamond one, I can post a pic if anyones interested!
Seriously the Bee's would be addicted!
ok being the skeptic that I am how does this work? I looked a the prices so how can this company afford to be putting diamonds in a candle that only costs 25 bucks am I missing something here?
@Eva Peron: I wanna see! That's such a cool concept =D It's worth it without the diamond...soy candles rule!
It is just a ring worth those values, they are NOT all diamonds. They have complete fakes, emerald, ruby etc.
Basically you buy it because you like candles, and then its like a the prize in a cereal box. Sometimes It is a real diamond though. Best idea is to go to the facebook page and look at all the rings, and video submissions.
I would want a small sample candle first before I got a big one. I am very picky about my candles lol
I have tried a four of the scents and they are all great and burn for a long time.

@Eva Peron: that's so cool =) Thanks for sharing! What's your favorite scent?
yeah for 125 dollars lol I meant like a tea light size candle for that price I buy 5 of my favorite candles and save shipping. If I try a new brand I always buy a little one first. Its an interesting idea though
I really enjoyed lavender lemon because I like things light and fresh ( its my fav so far). I am dying to try there newest scents of all the fun flavors like cotton candy etc but I have to mind my budget ;)
I have tried dusk, which smells like your man- just a nice musky manly smell.
I have the sunwash wihich is fabulous if you like the laundry detergent clean cotton kind of smell
The apple slice was my most recent purchase and It is very pleasant, bordering apple pie :)
Carnival candy or cupcake? I can't decide... AH!
I wonder how much their sales are going to go up this week....
@HappilyEverAfter54: If you try the cupcake, let me know how you like it! Thats first on my next list!
@Eva Peron: i love laundry detergent smells....I'm so glad my FI is supportive of my candle habit =D
are the rings a standard size like 7 or something? and what about the metal is it gold?
@miss sparkly cat: people on the facebook page said they run big... then you can put a sizer inside.
They are all over the board! You will find the diamonds or precious stones which are a lot of the estate types and such can run on the smaller side.
The fake or mock rings are often big, which I guess if you really enjoy it - it makes it easier to re-size. they also have a ring swap board/page, so you can trade for sizes and preferences.

whoa! jealous!
I really want one now too. I've got my eye on Sweety Pea and Strawberry Bliss.
@HappilyEverAfter54: All 3 of the rings she got were beautiful! Jealous! I saw some videos with some that I did not care for at all.
It's a cool idea but they're kind of pricey! But then again I don't really like candles. :) I was flipping through the fb page and I just can't believe some people seem to buy like.. a LOT of them. Like 5 or 10 even.
I could see buying 1 maybe for fun or for a gift... but if you're going to spend $250 on candles why not just go buy a nice real ring? :)
@zippylef: ditto. Some of the massive gold ones I wasn't fond of... I'm still watching videos lol
@CorgiTales: I buy a lot of candles anyways so from my perspective it's 'If you're going to spend 250$ on candles why not have a chance at a ring that's worth more than that!' ;)
I've paid $18 for a candle before they aren't much over Yankee candles and such... but the way people rip them apart is such a waste of money.
@CorgiTales: its basically like a gambling addiction.....lol
It does make sense just to buy a ring but for whatever reason it makes you feel like a little kid at Christmas.
@HappilyEverAfter54: buying them and ripping them apart is kind of a strong smelling form of gambling....imo.
Oh man I really want sample pack #2 I love everything in there. I just don't want to spend that much =( I always spend a lot on candles though because (I live in a basement condo) it smells like basement terribly. I still can't decide which one to pick grr.
@HappilyEverAfter54: Those are exactly the ones I was referring to. lol
@zippylef: I'm begging my FI 1st thing in the AM
I ordered a CUPCAKE candle! I looked everywhere for a promo code and then they gave me a promo code for my friends after I ordered... that kind of made me mad but whatever... I can't wait to get it!!!! My house will smell like yummy cupcakes and I get to wait for a ring I have no idea what it'll look like! I guess I'm super excited because I haven't had a Christmas or birthday gift I didn't already know what it was since I was 12.
@murmur: lol i guess that makes sense. but are they comparably priced to what you'd buy anyways? I really don't know... i can't stand candles that smell like things-- especially food. moving into a new house was hard...everyone kept buying us freaking food candles! haha
@Eva Peron: it really seems like it is! haha some of the fakes are really pretty, but some... not so much. do they guys pick the rings? I feel like if they put a woman in charge of picking out all the rings you'd have less whacky ones heh.
@Eva Peron: I NEED ONE NOW!!!
For those that actually order one, we should start a thread to show our rings in a few weeks!!
@CorgiTales: I just read the FAQ section, and they said instead of paying for advertisements on TV, they take that money and buy rings in bulk. So I'm guessing they are rings that are from homeshopping networks that were overstocked/didn't sell? That is probably why some of them are wacky.
I love candles, so this would be fun. I also think it would a a great gift idea.
Although, I'm with @CorgiTales; I HATE candles that smell like food. Especially baked goods. So gross.
@soyjoy222: um yes, we def need a thread! Ladies who ordered, keep in touch on this page and let me know when someone gets one ! It really only takes a week to get one and they are constantly updating their shipping locations, speeds and prices. they were blown away how fast it took off, but I guess they underestimated the power of ladies and jewelry ;)
