I don’t have a picture, but one of my very good friends has a diamond nexus engagement ring. It’s still beautiful after 5 years or so. Her husband said they would upgrade her ring whenever it turned cloudy or had issues, and it hasn’t. She’s quite pleased with it.

As far a I know diamond nexus doesn’t actually make lab created diamonds, its some sort of cubic zirconia.  The colored ones are suppossedly lab created diamonds.

Here’s some past threads:

I would go with Asha if I was you. Or Moissanite!

Asha does not over price their CZ’s like others do & also add a diamond like coating.

@SweetVanity:  Yup I have the same agreement with my FI – he bought me one from Diamond Nexus without knowing that it may cloud over in time, months after he proposed we read about DN online and had second thoughts, but honestly I still love my ring. We don’t have any plans to change it any time soon even though FI has promised me I can pick out a new one if I want to. Here’s a photo of mine:

Hi  just realized your the bee who just asked all the questions about moissanite.  Wedding bee has a search bar on the right hand of the page directly under the shop wedding bee tabs, if you weren’t aware of that.

You can search for things like diamond nexus and quorri and find all kinds of info like this.  Instead of getting frustrated at not getting any answers to questions that bees often times pass over because its been asked so much.

Hope that helps.

LOL they must have people they specifically pay just to Google search threads of their product all day long 🙂

We’re planning on having a Diamond Nexus engagement ring for our own reasons.  I have friends who have rings from this company and years later there are no issues with cloudiness or anything.  I honestly think that researching a non diamond stone was harder than picking out a forever ring, but it is worth the research to find the ring that is right for you.

Do some google searches — people have sent Diamond Nexus stones in to independent testers and they’ve come back as CZ. Former employees have said that the shipments come in boxes labeled CZ. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with CZ, but you can get it a heck of a lot cheaper than you can at Diamond Nexus.

If your boyfriend is insisting on a diamond, Diamond Nexus isn’t for him. They’re not “lab-created diamonds” (which should be pure carbon), but “lab-created diamond simulants.” True lab-created diamonds are pretty expensive and actually can be more expensive than earth-mined diamonds.

Edit…… After doing research on this forum and others for the last couple of hours, I told my SO to go with an asha instead.  I don’t think it’s right for us to pay so much money for something we have a near 60% chance of having to replace in five years time.  I’m not a huge risk taker though.  (And I’m also rarely lucky enough to have the products without issues lol)
