some girls at work personally haven’t been the nicest towards me. One was already engaged. Then I got engaged July 13, 2013 and the the third girl just got enaged.
The other two have decent size diamonds I believe a 1ct.
I have smally hands, my ring size is a 5. When looking at ring’s I thought the 1/2ct was to big for me and looked kind of funny so I liked the 1/3.
But going into work the girls ever so nicely put it that I shouldn’t go write home about my ring because it’s nothing special and tiny.

@oxstardust421xo: Would you like me to punch them in their face? Thats really messed up
Do you love your ring? Bc thats all that matters. Women who only care about the size of a diamond are shallow. Its not about the size of the diamond. Its about the significance of that ring, having a nice size diamond or stone is just a bonus.
dont listen to them. Seriously I wanna punch the girls that said that lol

And your ring is gorgeous. I thought it was a 1/2ct. Its elegant, classic and timeless. Something that will never go out of style!

@oxstardust421xo: I think your ring is lovely! Don’t listen to what anyone else says (unless it’s positive!!)–if you love it, that’s all that matters! 🙂

I didn’t vote in your poll because my favorite is a radiant, but that doesn’t matter.
Your coworkers are bitches. If YOU like your ring, that’s all that matters. I wear a 4.5 and totally agree that everything looked WAY too big. My e-ring is .5 total, .25 center and the rest in the halo and band. I have a CZ ring that’s .46 in the center stone (and just a tiny bit more in the halo/band) that I feel uncomfortable wearing.

Wow, that is so rude! Your ring is gorgeous! I have the same size fingers as you and about the same size diamond, and I got a few weird remarks too. One guy I worked with said “well don’t be sad, you can always upgrade to a bigger diamond for an anniversary.” What? I just tell myself that people like that are either clueless or say mean things to make themselves feel better.

Colour, cut, clarity and class. They are lacking one of those, you are not. 😛
Your ring is timeless and gorgeous.
All the big diamonds in the world can’t make up for an ugly disposition.

My e-ring is a round black diamond, which I adore, but I also have a RHR that is a heart (non-diamond [amethyst]) … I think your ring is beautiful!

I clicked on your link and was like Ooh! Perfect! I’m a size 5 too and I think anything over .75 ct on my hand just looks outright ridiculous, much more comfortable with 0.5 ct or less! I would be able to more genuinely compliment your ring than many I have seen on my own coworkers. Different strokes for different folks of course, but I still prefer smaller to larger stones and solitaires to halos on just about everyone. Your ring is gorgeous and if you love it and it has meaning for you that’s all that matters. Be a model of happiness, grace, and manners for these girls – clearly they need some better influences.

@oxstardust421xo: I think that ring looks SO timeless and elegant on you!
I can’t imagine saying something that bitchy to someone!

Your coworkers sound like dicks.

Wow your co-workers clearly have no manners! Size is a matter of personal taste- the only opinion of your ring that matters is yours. It looks beautiful on you, you love it so it’s perfect! Some people like small some like big- shouldn’t be a big deal either way but to have a negative comment on anyone’s e-ring is so rude imho.

Thats just mean of them and sounds like a way for them to brag about their own rings while putting you down. I’m also a size five with 1/3 carat! I love it.

How rude! Your ring is lovely & it’s what you wanted! You should probably tell them their faces aren’t anything to write home about! 😉
