I am looking for a diamond white veil, tomatch my diamond white dress....(though the bridal shop told me I should get an ivory veil, even though my dress does not even look ivory) -- is that right? Now, where can I find one? I don't want to spend more than $50 on it
I don't know if they make diamond white veils; they didn't sell them at my bridal salon anyway. My dress is diamond white and my veil is champagne with gold trim.
My dress is Diamond white also but I already asked FI's Aunt if she could make mine. Is it too late too back out???? She asked me for a swatch of my dress so that she could buy material to "match" or "blend in." Is there a big difference if I just went for a regular white veil?
I got my veil from eBay seller Veils by Lana: http://stores.ebay.com/LANAS-WEDDING-ACCESSORIES-STORE
They definitely carried diamond white, and nothing was over $25 (plus about $8 shipping). While it wasn't a breathtaking veil, it was perfect serviceable and I'm sure no one suspected how little I paid.
Unfortunately, they actually sent me the wrong veil, though it was very close to the one I'd ordered and I decided to just keep it. According to their feedback it looks like mix-ups sometimes happen (they sell hundreds of veils a day, and undoubtedly process them quickly to keep up with the volume) but they'll replace with the correct one if you complain. So if you're worried about getting the exact right one, I recommend ordering it early enough that you could get the correct replacement, JUST in case it's necessary!
