So, I’ve grown up as a tom-boy and I’ve never dreamed of my wedding, never gotten excited over jewelry or dresses. I’d tear up over proposals occassionally. I think you get the idea. But my guy and I are getting close to engagement and we’ve done some ring shopping, though nothing has ever jumped out to either of us. Very randomly I come across the Diamonds by Lauren site and found THE ring. I literally had a girl moment. Maybe I’m just hormonal but looking at it was almost tear worthy for me. 🙂
I was looking at a version of this one that was slightly under a carat. But I was wondering if any of you bees have had any experience with this company? Anything good to say? Bad to say? Thoughts about product quality? I’ve never heard of them before and if they turn out to be a legit establishment I think I’ve just found my future ring. 🙂 🙂 🙂

They are a really reputable company and I have heard only but great things about them. If you would like to do some more research, there is an online diamond forum called pricescope where several of the posters there have had dealings with Diamonds by Lauren. Even the representatives of that company post on that website.

Yes as sweetie 77 said you’ll find lots of reviwes on pricescope (check out the rocky talk forum). I don’t own any of their rings myself but they are definitely a legit company. Beatiful choice!

My jaw dropped. That is one stunning ring! I have heard good things. I agree with above posted, Pricescope is a great place to read reviews and look at pictures.

Thanks guys! They didn’t have the fanciest of websites and that always makes me nervous about the legitimacy. But I’ll definitely jump on pricescope. Thanks again! 🙂 On another note: boyfriend loved the ring too. And we both loved the reasonable prices. He was wanting to know how legit they were as well and he said if I can find some additional info on them at minimum he’ll wants to buy that setting, maybe even the whole ring. I loved the fact that some of their diamonds looked like a cream surrounded by a white halo. I get that off white is considered “imperfect” but against the white halo it was everything I’ve ever wanted.

Hi Claire just wanted to let you know my FI got my engagement ring from Diamonds by Lauren and it is absolutely amazing. They are a wonderful company…he had to order it and it was shipped with the highest protection. They send with the ring all the information about your ring and the report and grade it recieved.
After he gave it to me we sent it back to have the company resize it and they were wonderful, quick and once again made sure it had major security (only delivering it directly to a UPS store and then requiring ID to pick it up). (Also was insured by them)
We have even considered having them make my band!
I would highly recommend getting your ring from there not just because they are a great company with beautiful rings, they also never make the same one twice! So you will always have a literal one of a kind ring!!

I know this thread is very old, but I just wanted to comment on my experience with Diamonds by Lauren in case anyone is searching, as my new engagement ring was purchased there. I came across the ring online and was immediately attracted to how unique it was. I looked at it for several days before telling my fiance. David, the owner, i’m assuming, was great with answering my questions by the same day and giving me all the necessary info.
I believe a majority of the pics are from the actual pieces on sale and there are also videos for some I believe. And even though the ring I was interested in is on the lower end price wise of what they sell, he didn’t try to upsell us and I appreciated that. It was sent next day air and arrived packaged very very well. It is as pictured, & included an appraisal. I love it even more than I thought I would. I had a great experience with them.
