It’s a gorgeous ring, and I’m sorry you’re having these problems with it. I would feel that same way you do, though, and just give up. I’d definitely get tired of having to get the thing repaired all the time.

Wish I had some better advice.

This happened to me as well with my pave diamonds. The store eventually got sick of me turning up every month for new diamonds and agreed the setting had a defect to it. They sent it back to the manufacturer to have it reset in a brand new ring. I haven’t lost a diamond since. Not sure what you would do because it’s a custom ring, but you could ask. Paves do fall out but not as often as it was happening to me, or to you it seems.

This happened with my first e-ring… I sent it back and eventually it was completely remade.  I spoke to a different jeweller who I brought up my concern about pave stones falling out and he said they only fall out if the ring wasn’t finished properly.  I’ve had my new e-ring for about 10 months now and so far nothing has fallen out.  It still worries me that it will eventually happen but if it’s an option for you, can you have the ring remade?

Aww I’m sorry! I just got mine back today, actually. When we went to look at wedding bands last weekend, I was informed 2 of my diamonds were loose… one was barely in there at all. I started crying a little when the lady handed it back to me in a plastic bag and said, “Don’t wear it until it’s fixed or else that one stone is a goner”.

Now that I have it back, I’m SUPER paranoid.

My Maid/Matron of Honor had the same issue with her first ring. She loved the unique design but for some reason it just didn’t hold the diamonds properly and she ended up having to change it completely.

What does your jeweler suggest as the cause? What do they suggest as a permanent solution?

It’s a beautiful ring, I’d look into the jeweler making a new setting like someone suggested. One of the small stones in my band came out when it got sized and my fiancé noticed it when we went to pick it up. I was so disappointed after waiting 2 months to pay off the layaway, then another week getting it sized, I had to wait another 3 days to have a new stone put in. I’m always looking it over now because I’m paranoid about one of the stones coming out again.
