I realllly love the Diana by Vera Wang. But I can’t afford it, even when it is used off of oncewed.com/preownedweddingdresses.com
I like the DB one, the fit n flare, but am not sold on the waist line yet. I live like 2-3 hours away from one too.
Is this trustworthy?

Ok, so I still looove the Diana and I still can’t afford it. I tried on the white fit n flare from DB, and am considering that, but still like Diana better…
No one replied to my post 🙁 BOO. but I have another question….
If you were (or are) the owner of the Diana by Vera Wang, would you sell it online for the third time?
I want that dress but on oncewed or preownedwedding dresses it is still 4,000 when it is used. If you were the 2nd owner, would you sell it for the third (or fourth fifth sixth I dont care!!) time? So that is affordable?

Have you tried to look elsewhere at all? Or are you totally enamored with Diana?

I have been looking at other dresses but I don’t get too overly excited with them. My mom says I have champagne taste with a beer budget, but it is probably more like a kool-aid budget.

Yes, I can relate. I do not know what your budget is, but I do think you should go out and try some on, to kind of show your mind something else. And if your mind scoffs at them, revisit the vera wang white collection, you might sing a different tune.

LOL @ the term Koolade budget ! I dont have the dress but my fingers and toes are crossed for you

@MissHighHeel: My mom says the same thing! My absolute dream dress is Amy Michelson’s Grace & it goes for $3500 on oncewed used. My budget is $500 or below…. so yeah, koolaid
If your budget allows, I would definitely try the closest DB version (not sure of the style #). The bodice ends lower on the hips than the Diana, but it could easily be converted into a sweetheart neckline. Good luck!

Oh, and I’m not sure exactly how safe it is to purchase directly through the classifieds, but I’d much rather purchase one through one of the used dress sites or ebay, simply because you have paypal protection that way. And if the dress never shows up, you can get your money back.

@CaptainSpaulding: Ummm… I LOVE grace too!!! It is so beautiful.
I like the skirt part on the V-neck dress at DB, but not the top V-neck part. And I do like the strapless fit and flare one too…. What I don;t like about that dress is where the skirt meets the bodice. That is it. I just see that line, and the first layer or organza.. the 6 inches or so of fabric .. hard to explain.
ARgh. so hard.

i am totally in love with a vera wang also, and ive been looking into lily’s bridal online. when i was asked for a quote i also asked if they had made a diana and they sent me a pic of what they had done, and i kid you not, it was almost exactly the same.
however, i havent tried them, but other bee’s have and her dress was a very good replica. email them for a quote and ask to be sent a pic of their work on a diana. but make sure you get the right feeling for them before you go ahead. feedback seems to be good, but do your research.

I found this replica that seems to look a lottt like the real deal. But I have no idea how reliable that web site is…
