@Mrsdickinson:  haha my husband was totally having his period all morning because he thought we (the women) were taking too long to get ready, he was bored, why the hell did the schedule say he had to get dressed so early, etc. I just told my brother to give him beer, which he did, and all was well!!!

Just make him someone else’s problem until it’s actually time for your First Look (if you’re doing one) or ceremony. Best Man, sibling, whoever. That way, if he gets snippy, it won’t be at you so you won’t even have to worry about it!

My sister and her husband actually got into a big arguement on their wedding day. He basically wanted to shove cake in her face and she wasn’t having it. Super uncomfortable!

Not married yet, but a friend’s wedding last summer apparently had some fighting. The groom had forgotten his suit at home three hours away and I guess didn’t realize until that morning… a friend drove the round trip to go pick it up and I heard from another friend who was a bridesmaid that the bride was pretty ticked at the groom for forgetting that. I don’t blame her! But I would never have known if I hadn’t heard the story, they were either great actors or had made up by the reception.

You know, we bicker ALL THE TIME, but our wedding day was the exception.  Maybe it will be for you too? 🙂

I had a little RAWR moment when all 40 of our glass vases blew off our outdoor dinner tables and onto the ground and I heard a THUNK.SMASH! I told my mom, “I can’t even handle this! I’m going inside!”

I ran to my fiance in the ceremony space and said, “Go outside. Figure something out! Everything is broken and ruuuuined.”

“No, I’m hanging out in here.”

“But I can’t handle it! DO it!”

“It’ll be fine.”

“No, it’s allllll ruuuined. Everything will look like crap and no one will have a good time and all their feet will be cut up with glass.”

“Go upstairs. Relax. No one will cut their feet.”

“Go outside. Help clean up!”

“No, calm down.”

So … I gave up and calmed down. Only two or three vases broke, and they didn’t even shatter, just split.

My BILs wife had a royal meltdown right after the ceremony (yelling and crying) bc BIL forgot one of her picture props.  It all happened in the party bus in front of the bridal party and BIL’s kids, SUPER uncomfortable and nowhere to go…

I hope we don’t but we have tiffs about once a day lol.  You’d think we were all wrong for each other but actually we balance each other out pretty well.  DF is just a little too wound tight sometimes.  Last night was no exception….he was upset because I was painting my nails AGAIN.  And didn’t I think it was a little excessive to paint them every other day?  First I paint my nails once a week sometimes twice a week if I chip.  Secondly why does  he care?

I think I’ll take PP advice and make him my FBIL’s/Best Man’s problem the day of lol.  Hopefully we’ll be so busy getting ready that by the time we have our first look we won’t have anything to argue about.

Not the day-of, but the night before, after our rehearsal dinner.  DH wanted to hang out with his friends at the bar, but I didn’t want him to get drunk and be hung over at our wedding.
