I bought a really cheap veil and I hate it. I want to make my own. Where would I buy a pattern for this? Thanks!

I think Miss Aardvark did a veil tutorial in one of her blog posts. Maybe search for her through the blog?

I did mine! Super simple. All I did was measure out 120 inches of tulle, fold it in half, use a pencil/string compass to draw a circle on paper that is the same width as 1/2 the veil. Pinned the paper to the veil and cut along the circle. II then loosely stitched two threads through the top second that attaches to the comb and pulled to gather the threads, then sewed the threads to the comb.

    Super simple :)

Strongly thinking about it. But we would put lace on it.. and finding the exact lace has proven difficult.

Thanks ladies! I'm heading out to run some errands, including a run to hobby lobby :)

@takemyhand:  That does sound really easy! I'll definitely keep that as a reference thank you so much!

@TopazWedding:  I'm going to add lace to mine as well, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm hoping to get it started and finished today.

@colli459:  Thanks! I'll check that out!

     Here goes nothing!

@SunnyBunny:  I will be honest, I was TERRIFIED about doing it. 45 minutes later I was jumping up and down because it was so simple!! Had I known, I wouldn't have procrastinated on making it!

    You'll do fine :)

I'm making mine, but it is a birdcage/fascinator.

I wanted long so I folded it in half, then cut a huuuge  half U. And there it is.
