YES.  And I’m about as far out as you are from my wedding (5 months).  We’re having a really low-key day, so basically all the planning is done and now I’m totally regretting our decision to have a year-long engagement.  Who knew a year could be so long?  Argh!

@jwdesiree:  I totally feel you on that one. My wedding is still a year and a half away but I just cant wait for my day. I have 3 weddings this month and I think its just making me that much more anxious! I wish I didnt have to wait so long, but I have to focus on school first. I keep dreaming about the day and how amazing it will be.

I think this feeling will hit me pretty soon. I’m only 2 1/2 months (yay!) away from our wedding, but it has been one crazy ass year. I think the engagement happened at the perfect time. We were engaged last November and I was in my first year of teaching and an accelerated (13 month) graduate program. The second semester of the school year was insane, the first half of summer was spent finishing my huge ass paper and presentation (thank goodness that ended in July), and the start of this year has been hectic. I don’t think it has hit me yet that in two months I’ll be getting married. Once all the big details were finished- I think in April or May- I was like okay…done with the planning, ready to be married. I’m sure once I get to November it will really set in!

@jwdesiree:  LOL, at least once a week I ask my fiance if we can just elope already.  We actually ended up buying him an engagement ring because he was ready to show the world that he’s taken!  But I still can’t wait for the actual day to be here.  I am so not a princess type but I want to wear my pretty dress and be a bride, dammit!

I felt that way so badly, and we were only engaged 4.5 months! But I knew I would be that way, hence why we had a short engagement. People kept telling me it “had” to be at least a year or we would get divorced (yep I actually heard that, multiple times) and I was just like no way! We want to be married!

@jwdesiree:  Haha, I’m SO glad I’m not the only one who feels this way!  Especially now that all the planning is done, I feel like I’m just sitting here tapping my toes and watching the clock wind down.  I log into The Knot every day to see how many days away I am from the wedding.  :/

@Tigerlilybride:  Oh gosh, people are awful!  I would roll my eyes straight out of my head if someone said something like that to me.

I’ve had the itch for MONTHS and it doesn’t help that I’ve got less than 4 days to go.

I’m having a 22 month engagement and there’s about 7 1/2 months left, and I’m about to go crazy! I thought I wanted to enjoy the engagement phase, but now I just want to be married!

Me!!!!  As soon as my bridesmaids purchased their gowns I felt so ready to walk down the aisle!  I still have things to do of course and I’ve been excited since we got engaged, but now I’m beyond excited.  I wish the day was here now.

I haven’t yet, but FI has…he keeps saying he just wishes we were married already. He keeps asking why we decided to wait so long (12 months) before getting married. This from the guy who when we got engaged in May and my Mom suggest this September he was like “No way, that’s too soon”. Now he’s like “Why didn’t we do that?! We could be married now!” It’s so cute.

I like having the time right now, we still have a lot of things to do and plan for in the upcoming months. But I’m sure that could change as we get closer to the wedding.
