I treated myself to a new mulberry purse! I’m sooooo excited! I’m sitting here waiting for her to arrive though I think I’ll have to wait until Monday now 🙁
What did you all buy in the sales? Any bargains?

@linnylou_88: I usually hate going to the stores on boxing day, but we found a great sale on the Kitchenaid stand mixer at the store we were registered at for our wedding.
We had gift cards left over from the wedding and some house warming gifts in the form of gift cards, an additional discount for wedding registry completltion. We eneded up paying a grand total of $30.75 Canadian out of pocket (basiclly we paid just for the 2 year extended warrenty, the mixer was free)!
At first we purchased the Kitchenaid Classic Plus, but advice from the MIL was that we should have more power (the wattage was 275) so I was able to find the KitchenAid Custom Mixer at 325 wattage for $30 more, so it was definetly worth it!
We also both got some winter boots that we both needed. These were kind of our Chirstmas gifts to each other anyways.

We bought a Dyson online yesterday! It was only $80 off, and still not as cheap as it is in the US… but oh well, I’m happy!

I love Boxing Day Sales… but I HATE the crowds.
So I either shop on-line… or I wait out the Mega Deals (half the time they are just “enticers” any how to get you into the store, and more than likely they’ll only have a half dozen or so of them)… I am more prone to shop from now to New Years (Boxing Day Week)
I have a few items I know of that are ON SALE this week (not deep discounted, but still excellent deals) that I am going to go out in search of this Weekend.
And in Mid-January, I’ll be scouting out the Clearance Sales… lots of good deals to be had then when “Seasonal merchandise” has to move for Spring Items coming in. AND the best part, is there are a very few shoppers… everyone staying at home as they are in debt from overspending at Christmas.

@linnylou_88: I’ve not really looked. The only thing I have looked at is pillows as we’re desperate for some new ones. Not very exciting I know 😉
