I totally knew with my first; I didn't even test until like 5 or 6 weeks, because I was so convinced! I didn't know with #2, but my husband knew with both of them. I guess he can read me better than I can! :)
I completely knew with both of my girls. I actually had the same dream with both of them, got up and tested and got BFP right away.
I didn't have a "gut feeling", but I was tired as hell the whole week before AF was due (like could take a nap standing up each afternoon if I had to, and I am NOT a nap person), and my boobs hurt so bad I didn't even want to take my bra off in the evenings. I tested positive at 10DPO so these symptoms came on fast! Do you have any symptoms? Good luck!
@bellamargot: The tired thing hit early with me too. We got our BFP right before the last Harry Potter movie came out, and we had planned a movie marathon for the weekend before. We cooked, decorated, went all out, because we're lame like that.
After all of the preparation, I fell asleep at like..6:00 that evening. DH was like "What is the matter with you??" haha
I was the opposite - I was 100% convinced I was NOT pregnant! It was our frst month trying and we didn't even start trying until the day after O so I was sure we had missed our window. Previous months, when we were half-heartedly preventing, I had suspicions I may be pregnant but obviously was not. Clearly my gut instinct is COMPLETELY wrong! Oh and when not pregnant, I had every PMS/pregnancy symptom in the book; when actually pregnant, I had not one single symptom until after my BFP at 15 DPO.
Good luck!
My first, no. My period was late so that tipped me off. But with this baby yes. I was so drained, I thought I was sick and it hit me "Oh crap" haha.
Apparently gut instinct doesn't always work because I was kind of convinced I was pregnant last month. And we aren't trying (I'm on bc but we all know thats not 100% effective). But for some reason I just had this seirous gut feeling that I was pregnant and that had never happened to me before. I even contemplated buying a test a few days before my period just to confirm but decided to wait. Then I got my period a day early! So apparently definitely NOT pregnant lol.
Yes. I had high hopes in previous months, and even half thought I might be, or would be almost convinced that I must be, but would have nagging doubts. When it happened, I just knew I'd get that little line and my lack of doubt is what scared me! Sure enough, I got that BFP when I tested at 10 dpo.
I totally thought I was *not* pregnant. Even when my period was a day late and my temps were still quite high, I was sure AF was just about to show up. I just didn't "feel" pregnant, but I guess I didn't even know what that meant, since now I'm 21 weeks and have a wiggly baby kicking around inside me :-)
I was absolutely sure twice in my life. And nope, I have never been as of yet! But I had every symptom, so you never know.
I totally thought I was NOT pregnant the month I got my BFP. However, couple of times before that I was convinced that I was pregnant when I was not!
My first pregnancy I was absolutely convinced I that wasn't, so that BFP was such a shock. With my current pregnancy, it was the opposite. I was sure that I was. I had too many similar feelings that I had with my first so the BFP wasn't a surprise at all.
I pretty much suspected I was but was in denial about it for a few days. I started spotting about 4 days before my period was due and I never spotted before so I assumed it was a weird period coming early. Then it went away the next day. On the actual morning my period was due I had no cramps or signs it was coming like I usually did. I had an HPT left over from a 2 pack so I took it and it turned positive right away. I'm pretty in tune with my body so the changes were a definite sign.
I did because I've never had period cramps before without a period. It was annoying, but exciting. I knew when the HPT still wouldn't show positive.
YES. I was positive I was pregnant by like 7-8 DPO and got a BFP at 10 DPO. I am pretty in tune with my body and I could just tell that something was weird.
I totally thought I was not pregnant with my first BFP. I had completely convinced my self that I couldn't be because we missed the date. Well The day after I totally got a BFP.
How ever I am in the same boat as you right now. I want to say that I am pretty sure I am prego but I am sooo afraid of jinxing it lol. I just feel weird kinda like I did with my first BFP. But it could be my mind making things up too.... But I am almost 100% sure I am.
I knew :) I just felt different.. Everything felt 'off' in my stomach. I had crazy symptoms so that made it even more clear. Some people think this is impossible.. but I actually felt my egg being fertilised after we had sex.. it was a weird feeling but I sort of just knew :)
I ended up going to the doctor for a test and he confirmed a strong positive at 7 weeks!!
Thanks for all the responses! Thanksgiving was great (but hectic) so I wasn't online at all the last couple of days. I so enjoyed reading everyone's stories. Like I said, I have nothing to compare this to, but I just feel it. I've been having light cramping pretty much every day post ovulation which I don't usually get until the day before my period, back aches, dizziness/light-headedness, shortness of breath, sore breasts, heartburn, warning...tmi up ahead...but even constipation which is very unusal for me. If it turns out I'm not preggo then my intuition has failed me...but if it's right...then I'll be one happy camper!

I'm sure there have been threads about this before, but I was just wondering if anyone just knew in their gut they were pregnant before getting a BFP. I could swear I am, but won't be able to find out for sure for another week. It's my first time trying so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I just have a feeling. Anyone else have that? Were you right? Thanks!
