I hate heels and not because my feet are two different sizes…because I suck at walking in them and I always get blisters. πŸ™ I’m wearing these!

These are not the exact shoe I wore, but close enough to be a sample.  It’s really hard to find white flat shoes that don’t look clunky.  I rarely wear heels and was thankful not to have to torture myself that day!

I didn’t wear heels, and I am VERY happy with my decision not to!  I was comfortable all night, and I think my shoes were still fun and special πŸ™‚

I don’t have any day-of pics right now, but here are my shoes (I’ll post a pic of them on soon!):

I’m not wearing heels – here are what I’m planning on wearing. They are Dr. Scholl’s. I also have the two different size feet problem, and one is a 10 and one is a 10.5 (incredibly difficult to find, basically impossible. These are shoes I already own and are broken in. I won’t get all those cute pictures of shoes on their own since the inside of the shoes are worn, but I sort of hate shoes so who cares?

I’m also considering Tom’s, although the pair I have now don’t fit that well. I like that they’re closed across the top though and less likely to fall off.

I wore flat strappy sandals.  πŸ™‚  They are Kate Spade “Fella” – blue satin with a big blue flower on the top.  Our wedding was outdoors so I didn’t want to break an ankle walking in the grass.  Also my husband is 3.75″ taller than me – he normally doesn’t care how high my heels are but said I couldn’t be taller than him on our wedding day, and heels less than 4″ are hard to find!

I wore these, let’s see if I can figure out how to post a photo from an iPad. They’re Naturalizers, and though I forgot to test them out beforehand, they were as comfortable as anything I wore for about five hours with barely a chance to sit could have been. And people kept telling me how cute they werestand they were something like $30, so I have no complaints of them!

I wore mustard yellow flats.  Although….they weren’t very comfortable.

I’ll be wearing completely flat shoes…FI is like, a SMIDGE shorter than me in real life. So I figure if I wear flats, and he’s in his dress shoes, we will look fairly even in photos.

(I love my runty little FI, but since it’s literally like a 1/2 inch difference in height, it seems reasonable to want to be even at our wedding!)

Bridal White Women's GlittersToms!!! This is what I’m wearing… they are super comfortable and hardly need any “breaking in” plus for every pair you buy, they give a pair to a child in need πŸ™‚

Planning on wearing flats because I have an uncooperative big toe that dislocates itself in heels (broke it playing soccer and it never healed properly!). Love that I’m going to be able to walk and dance in comfort!

Sorry for the mega picture….I have no idea how to make it smaller

I am a train wreck in heels! I  also have very wide feet and even finding flats can be a challenge.  I found these handmade wedding ballet flats on Etsy and I just fell in love with them.  Also a positive, you trace your footprint on paper – mail it to her and she makes them specifically for your feet.  I’m excited to get them soon..they do also come in ivory or white!

These are mine – I never wear heels, i always wear flip flops or flats so it was the obvious choice.  Plus my FI is only a couple inches taller than me so it all works out πŸ™‚

I did wear heels for my ceremony, but I rocked hiking boots for photos/reception.
