I've bought this dress as well but my wedding day is on 20th of August , so I don't have any pic's yet. I am so excited because I thing this dress will impress everyone cause it's so elegant but simple at the same time. One question i have for you - your ruffles on the arm do they actually look like on the Pronovias photo or they rather lay down on the arm?

I did try on this dress and it is absolutely beautiful! Very slimming- and very chic. I'm positive you will love it! The material was so rich and thick! The arm part rested on top my shoulder- not straight across on my arm.. but you can wear it either way.
One question... where did you get it?... I'm guessing online.. I want to buy mine online but I don't know which web site to trust!!! Any tips?

I am also really struggling on whether to buy this dress! I absolutely love it, but I always invisioned wearing something strapless and sweetheart and this is certainly different. I also really wanted to wear a veil and am worried that a veil would be too much with the shoulder ruffle... Anyone else have photos of them wearing this dress? That would be sooooo extremely helpful!!
What do you ladies think??

I actually purchased this dress and made it into a sweetheart. Then i won a free wedding dress that i chose to wear instead. i have never worn this dress so if anyone is interested in purchasing let me know. I pair $1250 for it and would be willing to sell if for much less! Its a size 10. Beautiful dress!
this is my wedding dress!! I am wearing it with a birdcage veil as well. i think anything else competes with the shoulder which is the whole essence of being with this dress.
I have ginormous boobs so i knew i wasnt going to do a strapless and was kind of bummed out about the strapped wedding dresses available until i saw the alison.
i went to a store that had a sample, tried it on, and died. i got engaged nov '10, bought the dress april '11 (on an accidental dress shopping excursion with my mom and sisters) and my wedding is not until sept. '12 but i look at a picture of the dress every day bc i'm OBSESSED with it. this dress made my wedding dress shopping experience practically non-existent since i bought it at the first dress store i ever walked into which was AWESOME cause i was dreading the whole experience.
i think it's suuuch a unique silhoutte and totally flattering and simple but soooo striking at the same time (see? obsessed...)
i think you need to have a little bit of extra flair to pull this off tho bc it certainly isnt a quiet dress that people forget about.
if you can get to a store that has a sample, i suggest you go in and try it on. it will totally convince you, promise!

Hi Girls, i'm new to this forum, i also bought an Alison and I will have the first trial next week! I bought it in July after trying only 3 dresses and now i'm a bit nervous since I don't even remeber how it fits me. Glad to hear lot of brides choose it and are enthusiatic about it. Anybody worried about the wrinkles? I have the feeling the heavy fabric (which i love) might get really wrinkled after sitting for a while.

I ended up buying this dress. It was simple, classy, and very different from any other dress I tried on. I am getting Married at the Ritz Carlton, and I thought that it would be a statment dress and very fitting for the Venue. (P.S., this image is before I purchased it so it isn't quite fit to my figure. The ugly home depot clips are in the back :))

Hello all,
I just purchased the Alison dress from the 2011 PRONOVIAS GLAMOUR collection. I chose this dress because it was unique. I loved other dresses ive been looking at and now i second guessing myself! but i could not find any images of a bride who has used this dress and i would love it if someone would share them with me. Even if you just tried the dress on, what are your thoughts? Im so stressed out about this
