In a lot of posts about brides changing into a second dress, a lot of the response is “why would you want to change out of your wedding dress when this is the one night you have to wear it!?”
I have a second dress, it’s short and it’ll be a lot easier to move/dance in than my first dress. I wont be changing right after the ceremony, but rather later on in the night once the dancing really gets started. So I’ll have about 5 hours in my “Wedding dress”. Even when I tried my dress on for alterations with the skirt all bustled up, I thought “Wow, this would be annoyong all night”. But, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE my dress. I also love the second dress that I got. I think that two dresses is the right move for me. I “think”…
So what I’m wondering is…. for those of you who ALREADY wore two different dresses for your wedding, did any of you regret the fact that you changed? Or were you glad to be out of your first dress to party the night away in a dress that you still loved, but was easier to move around in?
Please do not post to tell me how you think it’s silly to wear two dresses. I already know a lot of bees feel that way. I’m looking for input from bees who ALREADY got married and wore two different dresses to see whether or not they were glad they did, or if they wished that they had stuck with one.
