So I am in search of a long line bra with a LOW back. I returned the previous one I had because you can see the bra showing in the back (see pic below). I am also wondering if it is just adding bulk to my midsection? What I have on under my dress in the picture is a long line bra, a crinoline, and a bike short shapewear like spanx but thinner that come right to my breast bone (TC Fine Intimates brand).
I am wondering if I should just try something liek this on and see if it doesn’t give me so much bulk. I can add a converter like this to a regular (not longline) strapless bra. Then put the shapewear that comes underneath my breast bone and then the crinoline.
Has anyone done this?

@jessyrez: as it was explained to more at the bridal salon, the point of a longline bra versus a regular strapless is that th additional fitted part of the longline (to your natural waist) increases support and decreases the likelihood of slippage under your dress (same reason strapless gowns are fitted tightly to your waist, you want the weight of the dress there rather than handling from the top). I’d be afraid of a bra with an extender in particular slipping down, unless you could get it tacked in?
I did feel that the longline bra they put me in the salon added bulk, and it got kind of hot. I’m leaning towards having cups sewn in and getting my dress taken in as tight as it will go at the hips/waist…but I’m shopping for a lightweight longline bra as backup. You definitely still have nice waistline definition in your dress, so I think you have options 🙂
