Weddingbee boards

I was really nervous when my budget post went up today that people would think that I was spoiled or wasteful because our parents were helping us pay for our wedding, and it isn't a cheap wedding (about average for Los Angeles). I am just so, so appreciative for this community that, even if anyone thought it, no one said it. ;) I love you guys!

I'm in a similar boat (but I'm not super-famous like you are now :p), where my parents are paying for the whole wedding. Our budget started at $30k, but went out of the window after the dress and flowers and photog. I'm afraid to even know what our real total would project to, because we've already spent over the intitial budget.

But yeah, sorry, I'm sick and rambling. Anyway, you're great and you aren't spoiled or wasteful. :)

I'm a-tryin'! I have a test in the morning that I can't miss, but my lack of breathing and weird sleeping patterns and medicine from the doctor are all combining to make me not be able to sleep. At least I don't have the oink flu. Just tonsil infection and sinus infection and "pre-pneunomia" (which I swear to God they made up). Homeboy wants to cut my tonsils out. I said no. lol

And I still get excited when I see that you're a bee. I'm like OMG OMG! I'm a weirdo. lol

@kmskull: Haha, it's true with 2,320 posts, I've interacted with a lot of people. ;)

@50: I totally did that when Trail Mix became a Bee! She was the first one whose blog I knew to get picked. And man, sinus infections suck!

I knew I couldn't be the only one in this situation... weddings are expensive! But let's pretend that dress post doesn't exist, so that I can pretend to surprise you all later. ;)

@plp- I think that it's a more common thing than people think. For parents to foot the whole bill. (Or at least in the college-aged crowd!)
