So this last month I was very moody, mbreast says were sore and tender I couldn’t even let them out othey bra they hurt too bad to have the weight pulled down on them. And I thought I might be pregnant so I planned to wait to see if I missed my period or not(on birth control for pcos). I normally have pretty light periods since starting birth control and this one was VERY heavy with a lot of terrible cramps the whole time, where I only cramp during the first day. There were a lot more “clots” than normal and the whole time I was very weak and shaky and nauseous. I’ve miscarried before and it was similar but I was further along(8-10 weeks) where this one would have been 5-6 weeks. since I started bleeding I kept on with my birth control(a new pack) so I should have stopped bleeding but I still am and with cramps. Is this a miscarriage?

I would talk to your gyno, either way!

Were you using your BCP’s properly? Did you take a pregnancy test? Nobody here can answer your question without this information…

There’s no way of knowing if this is a miscarriage without going to the doctor.

I didnt vote because without a blood test it is hard to tell.. however, it sounds very similiar to my chemical pregnancy.
I hope you get some answers soon!

I second the other ladies. We wouldn’t be able to tell you whether this was a miscarriage or not. I’m sorry!

My answer would be maybe. It COULD be, but it could be just a funky cycle. Sorry we can’t be more clear. 🙁

I’d take a pregnancy test and see if any residual hCG may be in your system. However, I was on the pill for a long time and had several cycles like this — never pregnant.
