We registered for Macys Hotel Turkish towels. I liked the brighter colors, but decided to get white so that if they got stained, we could bleach them. We started using them, and lo and behold, I noticed the care tag says “do not bleach.” Ugghh. Then this morning I noticed that FH got something all over one of the towels and I am so irritated. How do you get stains out of white towels? Is it ok to bleach them? What would you do?

I think you can still add color safe bleach to your wash for things like this. I think the “Do Not Bleach” warning means, do not treat directly with bleach. This is mostly because bleach will eat through fibers.

My hubby got ink! all over the backside of his brand new, just issued white coat (MD) which I had just paid to have hemmed and have extra pockets put on the inside. I was sooooo annoyed. ANYWAY, I put Resolve Carpet Cleaner on it and it just came right out! It was amazing. I’d try that on anything now.
