My bridesmaids and I narrowed it down to two dresses. Both were Bill Levkoff and both were tried on in the colors I want for bridesmaids (navy). The one on the left is Style 174 (http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/174) and made of Satin and the dress in the right is style 334 (http://www.billlevkoff.com/style/bridesmaid-dress/334) a chiffon dress. My dress is silky taffeta. So I decided on the dress on the left – I thought it matched my dress more and was more appropriate for a late Sept wedding. What do you think?

I think either dress works. The one you chose is pretty and fitting for your wedding.

Honestly? I kind of like the chiffon one better. The straps on the satin one are very wide and make her shoulders look a little bulky.

I like the satin one best. I am not a fan of the weird flower one strap thing on the chiffon dress.

I like the satin one better too!!! If the girls think the straps are too bulky, they can always be trimmed down!
P.S. Your dress is lovely!

Given that I hate on shouldered dresses, it’s a no brainer that I’m going to pick the one on the left. A seamstress can always narrow the straps if any of the BM’s choose to do so. I like them the way they are.
I think her shoulders may look a bit wide because her waist is so narrow- a problem I’d love to have to deal with!

The one you picked really mirrors your own dress. I really like the one you picked, not crazy about the back on the other one… or the one shoulder thing.

@SagHarborBride: The one on the left matches your dress the best!

I like the left the best! Its beautiful!!

I think you chose the right one. It is very flattering on your Bridesmaid or Best Man.

I think you chose the right one too, really does compliment your dress

@miss narwhal: me either. I think one shoulder dresses look way too Greco-Roman toga for my taste.

I like the chiffon a lot more? I think the satin dress mirrors the shape of your dress a little too much, and the material looks bulky around the chest

I love the one to the left. It is so beautiful!
