i wouldn’t say CD14. your temp didn’t rise enough compared to your earlier temps. it’s possible CD16 was your O date but you probably won’t know for a few days. you’ll get your CH on saturday if you O’d yesterday. it’s hard the 1st month because you just want to know what’s going on and to be able to see a pattern. it’s gets easier the longer you chart. i promise!

as for BD timing, you guys did really good!!

If your temp goes up again tomorrow, I think you may have O’d on CD16.  However, I’m new at this, too!

@FutureMrs.Wood:  oh sorry! CH is cross hairs. you’ll get them with the free version too. it just shows a coverline (which to be honest, i still don’t get how FF computes that) and a line on the day you O’d. if you haven’t seen them on someone else’s chart, they look like this (they’re the red lines on the chart):

I agree with CD16..I’m new to this too though, if you get three elevated temps you will get the CH, it’s the most exciting part of charting! your Bding looks perfect, If you are both up for it I would say go for it tonight as well to be sure 🙂 goodluck!

I wouldn’t say the slight dip means you didn’t ovulate. Maybe your temp was inaccurate due to you having a restless night. You don’t get CH until FF can see your temps have been up for three consecutive days (something I only learned yesterday) – you can input temps for future days and see if FF gives you CH if you want to?

@FutureMrs.Wood:  haha slow down!  It’s prerfectly normal to not ovulate by CD16, doesn’t mean it won’t happen.  Just keep taking your temp (the same time every morning) and see what the pattern is.  It’s usually pretty obvious when you’ve ovulated there is a distinct temp shift (most times). That said, keep an eye on your CM (cervical mucous) and CP (cervix position/texture)… That will give you a lot of insight into when you ovulate.

How long are you cycles usually?

If you think YOU are crazy, read my last post. Seriously. I didn’t get any CH (and I was 99% sure I O’d on CD15) and I was writing myself off as infertile. Then I convinced myself I was infertile because I have midcycle spotting. I am slightly embarassed about my last post now! My poor FI, lol. Maybe if temping is making you crazy then leave off for a while? Just look for other fertility signs like EWCM and cervix position? I don’t know if this suggestion will help – temping has made me crazy and I know I’m still going to do it, lol.
