If I understand how they work correctly, the second line is supposed to be as dark as the first (i haven’t used them before)? If so, I would say yes! Congrats!!

It’s hard to say. Even if your OPK was positive, you still might not have ovulated. Can you ask your doctor for a blood test to check your progesterone level on CD17? That should tell you for sure.

Temping or a blood test are the only ways to confirm ovulation.  Your body can gear up for it and yet never actually ovulate.  Keep in mind too that once you get that positive OPK, it can take 12-36 hours for your body to actually carry through on ovulation – IF you do ovulate.  *hugs*  Not to be a downer, just want you not to be caught by surprise.

Yeah, OPKs only detect a hormone associated with the gear up for O, but not actual O.  I think you should try charting.
