(Closed) Did I really CRACK my DIAMOND?!? What should I do???

oh no!  well it may be too late for you now, but when I got mine I got it valued and insured, and part of the valuation was the guy taking several photos of it (for identification purposes in case it got lost/stolen) but also to show the condition it was in. I checked with the insurance company if they would pay if it if the stone fell out too and I was totally paranoid! He had a special computer/machine to do this and got several close ups of the stone as well. This was a different place from where I bought it (in London, but that’s probably not very helpful for you!).

I’ve heard it’s rare but possible too but if it’s any consolation I bet if you show it to someone else they won’t notice? and if they do, surely you must be entitled to a refund?!?  what kind of guarantee do you have?  poor you 🙁

I took my previous ering in for what I thought was a crack and I was so confused because diamonds are supposed to be so tough! Turns out as the ring got dirty my inperfections showed up more clearly and it had always been that way just not as noticable. Could be the same case? Take it in just to be sure…
