PUH-LEASE tell me they did or I’m gonna lose my mind. We’re 8 days away from our RSVP deadline and I still don’t have like half of the reply cards back!
Somebody just please give me some reassurance that this is just how most people do (waiting until the last minute!), because if I go to my mailbox one more time and there are no RSVPs in there, I’m gonna bust some heads!
Note: Please treat this like a vent. There will be no actual head bussin’.

@CarolinaCola: we got quite a few the day before and a couple days after. Unfortunately we also had to follow up with quite a few people who didn’t reply at all :-/ I definitely felt like busting some heads at that point!

@MrsBeck: Oh no. That’s what I’m afraid of! And I’m kicking myself for not making the deadline about a week earlier so I’d have more time to track down people who don’t reply. I left one week of space between the deadline and the date we have to give the caterer our final headcount, and now I’m really wishing I would have left myself two.

Same here! I gave a deadline of March 1st, but more than half are still unaccounted for and the venue needs final count March 6th.. I have a feeling I’m gonna be tracking down some peeps.. uggh!

@CarolinaCola: We had tons come in right before, but still were missing 24 after the deadline. I just copied and pasted an email to all those to get their answers.

I had 90% of my RSVPs but also set the response date a week or two ahead of schedule

@CarolinaCola: I have nothing but bad news for you… Our RSVP was 23rd Jan, we’ve only had maybe 1/3 of people rsvp before or on the rsvp date.. Im still chasing up the last 5 or so now.. Good luck to you!

Sadly… No. I found that if people hadnt responded the week of, they weren’t going to.
I sent out an email to the delinquents with this attached. Made me laugh about an otherwise annoying situation.
