That’s crazy! My wife knew that her SIL was pregnant before they announced it… she had a dream that she was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl, and sure enough she was!

@GardenRose:  My hairdresser did! I went in a few days before my BFP and he was like OMG, your hair is so thick luscious, are you pregnant? And I was like no, no way. A few days later, BFP! Can’t wait to tell him that he was right next time I see him!

@lovebirds08:  That’s extremely creepy. Can your wife start having dreams about lottery numbers? 😀 Would work out for you guys.

No, but DH had a nightmare that we had twin girls (I think they must have been pretty demanding in the dream) about 2 nights before we found out we were having twins… and about 3 months before we found out our twins were girls. Ha ha, poor guy.

Does my own subconscious count?  Both times I have been pregnant I have had a dream I was pregnant before a positive result could have shown up on a test (around 6-8 DPO).  I have never had this dream and not been pregnant that cycle.  Pretty crazy.  My cousin also told me she had a dream I was pregnant before I told her.  We didn’t tell extended family until the 12 week mark so I probably knew I was pregnant before she had the dream, but still crazy she would dream that and I actually was!  We live in different states so there’s no way she guessed it by seeing me or anything.

My mom swears she knew. I went to visit her not long before my bfp and she swears she thought I was pregnant then, but the time just doesn’t add up with my EDD. But it was about a week before we concieved I supposed she could’ve had some weird grandma senses. But most likely I think wishful thinking. =]

Well, I am nowhere near preggers, BUT a colleague of mine, who then worked at the closed ward in a mental health unit had a patient walk up to her saying: “You are pregnant dear, am I right?”. She laughed it off until a fortnight later she got her BFP. That was creepy.

I think my mom had some kind of intuition going. She housesat for me while I was away for the weekend and, knowing I have trouble sleeping sometimes, she left a couple Zzzquil pills at my house with a note saying “Do not take if pregnant! :)” – I got a BFP two days later

My MIL also admits to “wondering” if I might be pregnant a week or so before I found out.

My cousin’s beautiful Australian Shepherd, Guinness, would not leave my side for the entire time (about 8 hrs) that I was over at their place. If I got up to pee, he would come with me and wait outside the door. We couldn’t stop talking about how strange and protective he was acting! I found out two days later I was pregnant! I miscarried at 11w, but I’ll never forget that. I love that dog!

This thread is a little scary for me! I’m not pregnant, don’t really want to be pregnant right now… but I have semi-frequent dreams that I get pregnant and lose the baby. Sooo weird and makes me worry about when we DO finally decide to try after we get married.Undecided

A woman I worked with did. My only symptoms were that I was more tired than usual and food tasted very salty to me. I didn’t know I was pregnant until I was ten weeks but she said it about a month before that. I blew it off since I was on BC, periods never stopped, no morning sickess, etc.

Right around the time I got my BFP my aunt called my mom to tell her she had a dream that I was pregnant.

@springbride23:  dreams about pregnancy can be related to actual pregnancy but more often pregnancy in a dream symbolizes new beginnings. Probably the pregnancy and losing it dreams relates more to anxiety about wedding planning than to  prediction of future TTC troubles- hope that makes you feel better!! 🙂

My mom claims she knew, I was super worn out the Sunday before my BFP and when she noticed I had slept all day, she said she knew I was pregnant. 2 days later I tested before I made an infertility appointment with my Dr and boom, she screamed “I knew it”
