I haven't seen anything either. I applied to be one and haven't heard a word since the "thanks for applying" email.
I also applied - I just got the "Thank you for applying" email as well. I haven't heard anything else, but I have been busy the last few weeks, so I haven't been on as much as usual :(
I was going to post this same thread today to see if anyone had heard. :) I know they received a ton of applications, so the process may just be taking longer than expected.
Pengy's been super busy with the launch of the new shop on the site. Maybe now that's up and running new Hostesses will be chosen? I wish I had seen that original post asking for applications - I would love to be a Hostess :(
What exactly is the hostesses jobs? I know I seem them around the boards a lot - but I never really picked up on a theme on what they posted on/about.
@TheFutureMcBride: Ah! Thanks! I guess I should have done a little more exploring and answered my own question.
It's so funny, I've been around the 'bee for awhile-ish now...but still figuring out new things everyday :)
@jenandchris: I totally understand. It took me 2 months to realize I couldn't just start bloggin on the Bee.
We were going to send out emails to all the applicants, but as you know we had an OVERWHELMING response to our call. We read so many posts when we make our decision, and so this takes a LONG time!
We are getting very close to the final step in the process and should have some answers for our very patient applicants in the next week.
This represents a huge amount of work for our hostess team and I'm very appreciative for all of their help.
Thanks too to our wonderful applicants for being so patient!
@Mrs. DG: Thanks for the update! I thought maybe I missed the announcements somehow. We all appreciate the hard work you ladies do.

There was a call here a few weeks ago asking for applications for Hostess positions...The post has since disappeared but I didn't see any announcements about new Hostesses. Does anyone know? Thanks!
