@Gemma_Leigh: For some reason diamonds seem to be MUCH cheaper in the USA than they are in the UK or Australia. Not entirely sure why.
Did you pay $3600AU or $3600US?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
We bought my engagment ring yesterday. It is a princes cut, .7 carat centre diamond, then more diamonds in the band. Colour is G, clarity is SI2, and cut is very good. Metal is 18k white gold.
I feel like the quality of the diamond is in the middle somewhere and I know .7 is small (after seeing everyone's HUGE rocks on here) so why did we pay $3,600 for it? It was custom made from a wholesaler, not a retailer so they are meant to cheaper. Also, we're in Australia.
I thought $3,600 was a good chunk of money to spend on a ring, but now feel left a bit disappointed after seeing everyone's massive rocks an would have liked 1 carat as that seems the norm but that would have been so expensive. So did we get ripped off or did everyone on here pay a LOT more than we did? What did you pay (if you don't mind me asking) and for what specs??? Thanks =)
