The first 3 pics will help, I would'nt take the 4th one, but if you really want to take it with I don't really think it would be an overkill.
I brought about 3-4 pictures of hair, 3-4 pictures of makeup with me, just so she could get the "vibe" i was going for and not necessarily an exact copy. I did forget the dress picture, unfortunately, and she asked for it, so definitely bring yours! I think the more pictures you have, the better feel he/she will get of what you want :)
I think you should bring all of them! Who's it going to hurt?! The hairdresser might be interested in what your dress looks like & the picture of the bridal look that inspired you. It might even inspire HER to come up with an amazing look for you!
Or, she may not need them! Either way, it wouldn't hurt to bring :) I would be so excited to show my hairdresser my ideas!
Thanks guys. I was worried that I would come loaded with pics and she would just roll her eyes at me and think "oh another crazy bride" lol
I brought several pictures so she could get an idea of the look I was going for. She made some suggestions and I was really happy what we ended up with. Take at least the first 3 pictures and the fourth one if you really think you need to.
@sskati: Most brides are crazy anyway! she better get that sh*& right if it's YOUR wedding! LOL I am a bridezilla FOSHO!
A picture is worth a thousand words. Take a photo of your dress. I think, if nothing else, she'll be able to see how the dress sits on you because it might make a difference to your hairstyle.
Aw, heck, she'll probably love seeing the pictures of your dress anyways! But yes, I'd take all the photos.
Yes, and what type of veil you want of course. That affected which hairstyles I could have. I had way toooo many pics of hair...it was crazy.
I say take as many pics as you want! Better to be prepared.

I defintely think it's worth taking all the photos so she can get your vibe. I know I had several inspiration photos for both MU and hair. My hairstylist (who is also a friend) always kinda does her own thing, but I wanted to give her a few photos as a starting point. I feel like the more photos you can show, the better!
I didn't actually bring the pictures to the trial, but I did email my hair/makeup stylist a TON of inspiration pictures. Like 15 or 20, for reals. It was a big email :-P And she was very glad I did, because she said that many of her brides have shown up on the wedding day and said "just make me pretty" with no reference or anything! :o
I brought my laptop, which has all my inspiration photos on it. My MUA and hair girl, both wanted to see pictures on my dress, ceremony and reception sites and BM dress, and since I had my lappy I could show them! So no, I don't think it's over kill.

1) Pic of the hair I want
1.5) Pic of the hair I want if my 1st choice is not going to work (my hair is stick straight and the hair I want is curly)
2) Pic of the make up I kind of want (Its as close to what I envision as I could find)
3) A pic of my dress
4) A pic of the bridal look that inspired my whole look. (This one might be overkill)
