I engraved his on a whim. Mine wasn’t able to be engraved (to thin) I didn’t want to do the date, so cliché so I did ” love you more” it’s our saying

I might add at least 50% of the reason I did it was because “star trek” font was avaliable and it’s “our” show!

My current engagement ring (a stand-in) is engraved with my FI’s initials.  When I get my new E-ring, I am having it engraved with both our initials. I am hoping that my wedding band will be plain, with the words “In Aeturnum” engraved on the inside

I’m engraving “Put It Back On” in his ring (it’s an inside joke and he thinks it’s HILARIOUS) and he wants the engraving on my ring to be a surprise. We chose my ring together, so he and I wanted something to be a surprise.

I’m thinking of getting my ring fingerprint engraved on his (on the outside.) I haven’t decided.   I saw some great ones on etsy that we both really like and thought were special.

I’m hoping he gets mine engraved with “My B” or a saying that means a lot to us.

We are putting the words of our first conversation ever…

“you have beautiful eyes” in my ring, his first words to me

“you are trying to hard” in his, my first worda to him

We have each other’s first names per hiusband’s request – sweet and simple.

I also really like the old fashioned tradition of initials and date, like “LET to STC 8.24.13”

Right now my Ering is engraved with “Because You’re Worth It”, a phrase he’s told me a LOT, and he picked it himself when picking/designing my Ering, for wedding bands we may pick something, haven’t gotten there yet, if we do we’ll probably chose for each other something also that has meaning.

My FI had “Am Byth” engraved inside my engagement ring; it is “Forever” in Welsh (he’s Welsh).

For my wedding ring I had his name engraved in it and his wedding ring has my name engraved in it.

FtrMrsStein15:  like the Loreal ads! “Because you’re worth it” – so cute!

HAHA! I actually NEVER put those two together! My FI actually got a response that it’s the slogan of some diamond/jewelry place too…. He mainly said it to me cause he’d get dragged traveling with me, waiting for me at my races in all sorts of weather so would say “because you’re worth it” – now I’ll want to smile, chuckle and look at my ring every time I see Loreal! haha

We’re sticking with the traditional first names and date (I joke it’s so my FI won’t forget our anniversary).

We just ordered our rings – we asked for engravings of our first names either side of the date inside them
