The doctor who read our NT scan a 13 weeks told me she had a guess at the baby's gender. She said girl, and she was right! (I have no idea what percentage of the time she is actually correct though.)
We were only told the gender at the 19 week anatomy scan. We had our NT scan at 11 weeks so it was way early to tell.
@regberadaisy: Ditto. I thought it was too early to even ask so we didn't.
The technician looked but couldn't tell the gender durnign the NT scan. However, my SIL found out the gender with both of her kids at the NT scan, so I guess it just depends. Good luck!
there is what's called the "nub" theory, which shows only on the NT (between like 11-13 weeks). also known as "angle of the dangle" its pretty accurate, but i'm not sure how many docs believe it. we asked at our NT and the tech wasl ike no way its too early. some techs will make a guess. i belong to a FB group with 120 other people who were due in september - after showing them my NT ultrasound, nearly all who guessed said girl. ended up being a girl. i didn't really buy it. i went for a gender unltrasound at 15 weeks (the recreational one you pay for) and she also said girl. was confirmed again at 19 weeks. sooooooooo you can guess based on your NT but i wouldn't start decorating a nursery or get too attached to it. google "nub theory" or similar.
@andy113: I'm googling this like crazy, even though I have a A/S in 2 weeks lol
Even though I think you've had your NT scan by now....no, we didn't ask and they didn't tell us!
DH (he's in medicine) said he thought it was a boy after the NT scan and also after an u/s I had at 16 weeks...he was right!
The tech at my NT scan said she was almost positive it was a boy. We had an ultrasound a week prior at 11w2d and the tech said boy at that ultrasound too!! Only time will tell - I have an ultrasound scheduled around 18 weeks so hopefully they will be able to confirm it then.
I forgot to add my NT experience, the tech said they can usually tell if the baby sits just right.
Our baby, was being stubborn and did not want to flash us. So we have to wait till 20 weeks.
Oh, and in response to @panterapeach's comment, the ultrasound tech said that my baby was being super cooperative. Every time she needed a measurement, he would turn or move exactly how she needed him. He was bouncing around, so she was able to see all angles. She said he was one of her most cooperative babies (until the very end when he covered his face with his hands while she was trying to get a 3d pic of his face!). So that might be why she was able to guess the sex.
We found out! We were told that we were 99.6% definitely having a BOY!!!
we decided not to get it, but the gal at our office said they don't tell people the gender until later on (even if they can see something).
We went yesterday at 12 weeks 2 days and were told she was about 70% sure it was a girl. She said not to start going pink/purple crazy just yet but it is definitly more than a 50/50 chance.

Has anyone found out the gender during the NT scan? If so, was it right? We go in for our NT on Friday and I found some reports online that they could sometimes tell.
