Weddingbee boards

I realized I was going to marry DH after I read a certain passage in the Bible one night, so I put the verse plus the phrase "and then I knew" inside his band.  He adores his engraving.

We're putting matching inscriptions on his band and my engagement ring. I really wanted to do half of the first line of e.e. cummings - i carry your heart with me on each:
i carry your heart with me/i carry it in my heart

but I'm afraid it will be too long for my ring, so we are thinking of just having "destiny" inscribed, since we met on a cruise ship of the same name.

I had two engravings.  The first when we got married in 2001 (but hubby had since lost his ring and I don't wear my original one for various reasons) that had our names, wedding date and "my only love".  Yes, I know...cheesy.  So for our 10th anniversary coming up in a few weeks, I had our current bands engraved with the title of our song "through the fire" by Chaka Kahn and our wedding date.  Might seem weird but it makes sense to us because we've gone through some great times but also some challenging times in our marriage.

We got our initials and wedding date engrafed to both of our wedding bands.
