We didn’t do anything specifically for our one year anniversary, but we did go to Italy, which I made him promise to do the following year since he wouldn’t go there for the honeymoon.  We also went to Peru that year, but more as a prebaby trip since we were going to start TTC soon.

We’ve gone away for every anniversary but I wouldn’t say that they were second or third honeymoons. Basically just weekend getaways somewhere within driving distance. It’s nice to celebrate with a little vacay every year.

We won’t be doing a second honeymoon, as our first honeymoon is delayed (9 months after wedding!). We’ll probably just go out for a nice dinner or something.

We only went on a mini moon after our wedding to the Catskills, so we went on a big trip to Morocco and Paris for our honeymoon a year later.  I wish we could have gone on another trip for our second anniversary, but I’m pregnant and my husband didn’t have as much vacation time.

I’m not sure I would be thrilled about spending every anniversary at Disney World, but if it floats your boat.

We already have plans to go back to the B&B where we had our wedding for our 1 yr anniversary.  I can’t wait!

We did two mini-moons, but we’ve booked our anniversary trip for Cancun. We’re doing an all inclusive with Excellence and can’t wait. We just want to relax and do nothing – even booked a room with a private pool 😉

Derp:  it isn’t a second honeymoon for us but we are going to Cabo for our first anniversary. I guess it can be called whatever you want but there was only one honeymoon for Us. This is now just a vacation. I’m still excited! Lol

we are trying to plan an anniversary trip to CA coast for our 1st yr…. I don’t think that we will do anything really extravagant but I wouldn’t mind trying to do a something around our anniversary if possible.

I really want to take more vacations together in general (we use to see a TON of music and use up almost all of our vacation that way but as we get a little older we do less of that) so some years we might be more local (ie weekend at the beach which is a 2 hr drive away) vs a crazy “vacation” (flight/hotels) depending on where else we are going in that year.

I wouldn’t call it a honeymoon but we stayed for a weekend in a cabin owned by DHs uncle. The stay was actually a wedding gift from them.

Derp:  We just went to dinner. We travel a lot as it is, so going away for our anniversary wasn’t a big deal.

We had a destination wedding and so for our 1 year anniversary we went back 🙂 awesome way to celebrate. .. we even brought our top tier of our wedding cake with us (on the plane and all!) and cut it at the same restaurant we had our wedding reception at.

I wouldn’t call ours a second honeymoon, but an anniversary trip. We went to Hawaii for our first. First year gift is supposed to be paper, so my husband printed out our itinerary and gave it to me as part of my gift.
