I thought (almost from the beginning) that our LO was a girl. And at our 20 week u/s, my intuition was confirmed (she was good about giving us a nice toilet shot).
Yep. I was convinced from day 1 that it was a boy...couldn't even fathom that it was a girl. Same for DH. We were right! At our anatomy scan, the first thing we saw was the little legs and a little something in between : )
I was convinced it was a boy.
However, DH was convinced it was a girl, and the night before our anatomy scan he even had a dream it was a girl!
Sure enough, GIRL! I was shocked!!!
I was totally convinced from the start that I was having a girl. They told me it was a boy at the anatomy scan, though. I'm not 100% convinced they're right, since I was so sure. I guess we'll see in a few months
I wanted a boy. And from very early on, I kept saying "I want a boy, but it's a girl." I kept on wanting a boy, but I had dream after dream that there was a girl in there. So much so that right before my gender scan, DH and I had decided on a girl name, and didn't even bother deciding on a boy name.
Sure enough, the scan confirmed it was a girl. I can't imagine any other baby now, and she seems perfect for us!
I had no clue with Addie; I didn't have feelings either way. I kinda feel like Numero Dos here might be a boy, but that's just because this pregnancy has been different from my first. We won't find out for another couple months, so I don't know whether I can trust my intuition or not!
I don't know the gender of our baby yet, but all I can think about is pink bedding, clothes, etc. Most of the time I won't even bother looking at boy clothes or bedding, but I'll force myself just in case. I've also been having dreams of a baby girl, but I don't know if it's b/c I want one SO BAD or if it's intuition.
I was convinced our DD was a boy. We were team green so it was quite a shock when she was born. We had to check at least twice to convince ourselves that the nurse was right when she said "he" was a girl.
I'm feeling girl, but lord only knows if it's right or not. lol DH has a girl from a previous relationship so that's what I'm holding on to that he's a girl maker. :) My mom has 7 grandsons and 1 granddaughter...she wants a girl so bad she can taste it! Like @JewishBride, I find myself looking at only girl stuff. Just my luck it's a boy. lol
@winniewolf: Ditto - I have been convinced since day one that this LO is a boy - I just can't even conceive of it being a girl (bad pun, I know). We're team green so we have to wait another 22 weeks or so before we can find out, but I will be the most shocked person on the planet if it's a girl.
Interestingly, my dad is convinced it's a girl. The night after I told him, he had a dream that it was a girl and has referred to it as a 'she' ever since. So it will be interesting to see who has the better intuition - Mom or Grandpa!
As a side note - we have the A/S in two weeks and I am paranoid that we're going to see something I don't want to see!!! I will be crushed if we find out the gender accidentally, I might just look away the whole time until they say it's safe to look.
I KNEW it was going to be a girl. I was looking at girl names, girl clothes, girl nursery inspiration, everything. I don't know what I would have done if it was a boy because the thought never even crossed my mind that there was a possibility we were not having a girl.
Well, I was right! We are definitely having a girl.
I also just knew she was a girl, and I was right. I would have been SHOCKED if I was wrong because my gut feeling was so strong!
@Ree723: I have a friend that was team green for both her pregnancies. She said the ultrasound tech told her when she could look and she started the ultrasound out not looking.
I was completely shocked beacuse I was was convinced, I KNEW I was right. I thought for sure, would have bet my life on it, it was a girl. I had girl names picked out, the bedding, nursery colors etc..
It's a boy! I'm really excited now, but it was kinda hard at first honestly. I was a little disappointed. But I'm so happy I'm having a boy and not a girl now. I'm really glad I found out though so that I had time to adjust and get used to the idea of a boy.
@miss-spunkin: This is how I was. I was just so convinced it was a girl, that it seemed impossible that I could be having a boy. I'm glad we found out since I had time to get used to the idea.
I knew she was a girl from the moment I found out I was pregnant. I was right!
I've been wrong both times. My first baby is a boy and I was sure that he was a girl. Wrong.
This time, I was sure that Baby 2 is a boy. Wrong again. Girl!
In the beginning, I thought it was a girl... even had dreams about "her." The past few weeks my gut feeling changed suddenly to boy. We found out today that it's indeed a BOY! I would have been happy either way. :)
With my first pregnancy (team green), everyone kept telling me they thought I was having a boy based on how I was carrying. But from the beginning, I just felt it was a girl. And I was right!!
This time around, I'm not really sure. I keep switching back and forth. Since we already have a girl, I'm kinda hoping for a boy, but I keep getting this nagging feeling in the back of my head that it's another girl. Either way, I'd be thrilled. I love my girly girl, and she wants a little sister. I know my hubs wants a boy, so he can teach him to play hockey. And besides, he's vastly outnumbered in our house of girls, dog and cats included!
Based on all the boys so close to the same age in our family, we were sure that we were going to have the only girl. Turns out it was a boy, which is what we wanted! So yeah, we were 100% wrong on that one.
I was sooooo wrong. I was 100% convinced it was a boy. The Ultra Sound came up and "its a girl" went across the screen. I am pretty excited I was wrong though :)
I know this is a little late, lol but I had a strong feeling from day 1 it was a girl but didn't want to get my hopes up. I have 7 nephews and 1 niece so I figured I was deemed to have a boy....but I was right! Little girl is doing just fine. :)
I can't tell if it's that I want a girl that makes me think it is a girl or if I actually feel like I'm having a girl! I hope that makes sense! I guess we will find out soon though!
i was 100% sure baby was a girl....soooooooo sure of it....so was my whole family, and friends. everyone thought girl... no one ever said boy. i even had a stranger come up to me and tell me i was having a girl....guess what........ he's A BOY!
I laughed when we found out because we were all sooooooo wrong. i am so so excited for my little guy but ive been calling him a she for 20 weeks now!poor baby, no wonder why he flashed us as soon as we started the ultrasound, little man was fed up with being called a girl all the time!
For some reason my husband and I were expecting our soon-to-be-born first child to be a girl. Whenever imagining our future children, I just always saw us having a girl first.
But I kept having this dream early in the pregnancy about me being pissed that my relatives kept swaddling our newborn son in pink blankets. Turns out the dreams were oddly prophetic as we're having a boy.
None of his blankets are pink though.
@Quietserenity: Haha, that's too funny, I say the exact same thing about this bean. I wonder if I'll also have been right like you were :)
Both times I was pregnant I knew I was having boys and I did.

For any moms or soon to be moms, did you have a gut feeling about the gender before you officially found out, and was your intuition right?
