I’m curious, what parts of your wedding planning did you love or hate? I’ll start!
1) music/mc search
3) bridesmaid dresses
4) rehearsal dinner

MAde me exhausted:
finding a caterer
researching affordable venors and venues
Didn’t really love:
Dress shopping although when I found my dress it was like this “ahhhhhhhhhh” moment.
Also ddidn’t love assembling all the invitations. It was a more extensive process than i thought it would be but I wanted what I wanted so I did it. TUrned out great.
I do love the whole planning process but I am so ready for the day to get here.

I’ll be honest (it’s no secret on here or in real life) — I am not a fan of any of it. Hated dress shopping, hate having to dig out the forest of weeds that sprang up in the last month in the back yard, hate the whole “are you excited?!” virus that’s going around.
Sigh. That’s not TOTALLY fair. I love the details, the DIY crafty stuff. I’m good at that. I know those things will be awesome. And I love our rings. But if we hadn’t forked over money for my dress / his suit, this thing would have been nixed two months ago before my grandparents bought tickets into town and we would have gone to dinner with a few folks and signed papers that day. That was the original plan. But then I had a mini stroke and totally forgot who I was and said, “You know what? I like the idea of having people there, and I know you’d like it to be a little bit more than just dinner at a sports bar, so let’s do something small in the back yard.” Ugh.
Really, though, I’ll survive. IF the dress fits tomorrow. Stupid, stupid dress, giving me nothing but attitude.

going to wedding shows and getting ideas
shopping for jewelry and shoes
Stressed me out:
the cake – fh was soooo frustrating because he wants a “unique” design, let me tell you that translates into ugly as all heck. Serious compromise had to be reached.
finding a new photographer after we put down a deposit and took e-pics
wedding dress shopping
shopping for my mother’s dress – OMG kill me!
