@asianbarbie:  We didn’t have one. We had the key to the hall so we were the last ones out of the building and the last ones out of the parking lot. I don’t regret not having one because it gave me more time to celebrate with my guests and not leave the party early.

I have seen many nice exits with bubbles or ribbon wands.

@asianbarbie:  We are.  We have sparklers and our friend works at a car dealership and he is letting us borrow an awesome expensive get away car!

We’re having a confetti bomb/cannon at the end of the night. I don’t know if I consider it to really be a grand exit, but we’re not doing anything else. We’re getting married in a hotel and we’ll be staying there that night so no opportunity for any fancy cars to whisk us away lol.

We had a grand exit with bubbles. It was one of the few things my husband was really excited about during the planning. Our photographer was able to get a back lit shot of us and I think it looked amazing.

Unfortunately, it started raining after our ceremony and kept raining through the night, so our getaway car couldn’t come pick us up. We had brought our rental car to the venue earlier in the day and one of our friends actually played chauffeur and drove us to the hotel.

It would’ve been nice to have one but honestly, people started clearing out before the end of the event so the sendoff would’ve been super lame if we planned one. I think this is more our guests than the norm though. If you think your guests will stick it out until the end, it’s a great photo op.
