We have less than ten months until the wedding and I’ve been wanting to create a wedding website, but I don’t know anything at all about setting up websites.
After googling it, I’ve found that there are a billion different free sites where you can personalize yours…can someone please point me in the right direction?
If you had one, what site did you use?

I used a template off The Knot. It was very easy to set up and my guests were able to find needed information. At least I think so…everybody figured out where we were registered lol!

I’m using weddingwire.com. I really, really like that site. It is free, has customized designs, allows you to put in a guest list & seating chart. So far, it has been my top choice.

@boogiewoogies: We did ours through The Knot, super easy and it guides you the whole way.

We used the Knot. I liked it because it’s not Google-able. You can also put a password on there if you’re concerned about saftey. They have templates on there so you pretty much just enter in your information.

I am in the process of editing ours on The Knot. It’s not a lot but, it seems like it is taking me forever.

Weddingwire. It is has been soooooooo helpful. The guest list, and checklist function is CRAZY helpful for me.

We had one on the knot. A lot of our guests utilized it and found it helpful.

I made ours through The Knot. I’m not sure if it was very helpful to our guests beyond having our registry info on it but it was fun to make since it was one of the few wedding related things I could start on right after getting engaged.

@boogiewoogies: We used Wedding Window; not super intuitive but easy enough. Lots of tools. I know A LOT of people who used mywedding.com

Kind of. I bought a domain name, but I don’t have the first clue what to do with it now. That’s something I had planned to research in the free time I’m still waiting for to show up….

@boogiewoogies: I uses weddingwire.com and have been very pleased. It’s free, but we were able to purchase a domain name so it’s our names only which I love. It ‘s www then our names dot com which is great. We were able to add music for free, and the templates have been very customizable. It turned out beautifully.

We used mywedding.com. Free, lots of templates to choose from, and different tab options [guestbook, RSVP, guests can chose their meal, wedding events, registries, etc].

I used Appy Couple. People seem to have found it helpful. Creating the content was most time consuming.
